Cheap accommodation could only be found in hostels in Bangalore. Not all of them are clean, but there still are some quite okay. At the YWCA, on mission Road, you get the basic room with a bath. At the YMCA, on the Nrupathunga Road, romms are acceptable(although not extremely clean). However, the cool atmosphere makes everything much easier to accept. Prices go from 200 rupis.
