Visiting sights in Chennai-the island and Rajaji Hall

The island at the south of Fort George , created in the 17th century, can be considered one of the town's imporrtant military points. The Rajaji hall, , near the Round Thana, used to be the Hall of The Banqueting House. The hall is part of an attractive setting, designed in a Greek temple style. No entrance fee required.
