The golden Beach of Palolem is definitely the best in the entire state. The small Canacona Island that can be reached by a short swim is an additional attraction. The roads are stuffed with Kshmiri and Tibetan shops that sell clothes, music tapes and mineral water. There is everything you need for a long stay.
