If you are not left with much money and aren't very pretentious either, Hyderabad can offer you a great deal of cheap lodgings. At Siddarth motel on Bank Street for example, rooms go to 4-7 US$, and are quite alright for spending a few nights. The restaurant serves good Chinese food and the staff will help if you have any problems.
