Why are the temples in a middle-of-nowhere town such as Khajuraho so famed?(give a different answer) .
From the 85 temples built during the Chandela kings, around 1000 AD, 22 still stand today. The hot thing about them is the burst of erotic sculptures and paintings, with celestial maidens in all the possible Kama Sutra positions. Added to this, all these representations are so explicit that a shy person may blush effortlessly. There's daily flights from New Delhi, if this rings a bell!
