At the Kochi Cultural Centre, on Manikath Road, there are dramatic performances of Kathakali daily. For only 125 rupis, you can even get to see the astounding make-up being applied to artists. It's original, authentic and there is an English translator. So it's worth seeing, you'll feel like having unveiled an important part of India's secrets :)
