Luxurious and pricey bars can be found in Kolkata in many areas, but especially at the larger hotels, especially at the top ones. In Sudder Street, there are two very cool bars that attract tourists and some of the well-off locals :Fairlawn's garden terrace and Lyttons. You can try some independent bars as well, although it's possible not to find a great atmosphere.
