beatrice's question:
Among the temples in Kolkata, which ones would be the most suitable for visiting?(give a different answer) .
Although an important pilgrimage centre of India, non-Hindus don't have much access to this temple. Indians see it as a homage to the Kali goddess, the patron goddess of the town. If you are vigilent enough, you will see goats sacrificed here daily, in the same place where once human sacrifices were made. Worth visitng, in my opinion. It is open during the prayer times, from 5 00 to 20 00 every day.
