You'll find that the views you have from the Raigad fort are really worth taking that trip, especially the panorama of the lakes at sunset. Very powerfully historic sight, the fort isn't so accessible to foreigners, especially to those not knowing that there is a cable-car that substitutes the 6 kilometres of walk. Hint: you are better-off if you hire a car from Pune to Raigad, instead of a bus.
