dominik in response to subha's question:
I’ve heard of the Pushkar Camel Fair. It seems very big and I was wondering if it is a good time for visiting during the fair.(give a different answer) .
There are many that consider it an event of world-wide importance. The fair is usually organized between October-November, on the first full moon of the Hindu month of Kartik. If you hate chaotic, crowded, noisy and dusty events then it’s better to come to Pushar another time. But I personally consider it a thrilling period, where you can meet many new people and notice the human character in regards of giving and taking. Also, it is interesting and quite funny to see all kind of camels. If you decide to come to the fair, you better book accommodation in advance, because it’s quite impossible to find a place to stay at that time.
